Monday we continued our way to St. George, UT. We are staying at the Elks Lodge there – very nice large parking area with electrical hookups. Folks are very friendly here. They put on a steak dinner tomorrow that we’ll partake to help support the Lodge.
Tuesday we explored Snow Canyon State Park and Gunlock State Park. What fantastic red rock formations! We did a hike that required me to be on my oxygen, but I made it. It seems weird to be hiking while breathing oxygen, but if that’s what I have to do to keep but oxygen saturation up, so be it.

It was about a 80 mile circuit we did. Beautiful blue skies but hovered around 45 degrees with a good wind, so it felt colder. We arrived back at the Elks feeling tired. Was hoping to sit out and enjoy a fire, but it was too cold and windy.
Wednesday we drove into Zion National Park. Man, we would really love to stay inside the park, but reservations are very hard to get. The shuttle service now requires reservations, which were sold out for the entire week. So lots of the park was not accessible to us.

Even without being able to get to all the different areas, we loved seeing what we could. A truly spectacular Park.
Again, after a long day, we were tired when we got back to the Elks. We missed the steak dinner, but after our lunch just outside of Zion, we weren’t that hungry.
Thursday morning we got up and headed out again – north to Heber City.
