It was a rough drive – all of 173 miles. We like the slow pace. There are natural hot springs all over Montana, but we had heard about this place as being one of the nicer. So after an easy drive, we arrived to blistering cold winds and temps at 32 degrees. Marsha decided the warm RV was just fine for her, but I wanted to try the springs. It was right next door to the4 campground, but I drove over anyway due to the cold (and being lazy). There were a total of 4 pools – 2 indoors and 2 outdoors. The large pool was 86 degrees and the small one supposedly 104 degrees. The large pool was actually a bit cool, and the “hot” pool was only 2.5 feet deep. Still it felt good to soak in the waster this cold but I only lasted 45 min.

The campground was nice – very large and no one there. We came up to this area last year and we did not have the cold as we do this year. Again the wind just bite right through you.

So with a quick overnighter, we hit the road again.
