After the Balloon Festival you would think we’d be ready to hit the road again. But we wanted to stay in Albuquerque for a couple more days. Since all the close to Albuquerque RV Parks were still booked for the Festival, the closest one I found was 30 miles east of town (East – wait I am heading west!). You see, Marsha and I wanted to do the Breaking Bad tour. Probably shouldn’t admit that, but there it is. We couldn’t get in until Friday, so two days out in the middle of the desert was our stop. Worked out well – found the best pizza we’ve had here. Got the laundry done, and then ready for our tour.

This was a big thing in Albuquerque. Even though the show has been over for 5 years, the new El Camino Movie was coming out on the day we went. We drove around to many of the film sites, had lunch at Dos Hermanos (now known as Twisters), and saw some of the areas associated with the series (car wash, various houses, restaurants). It was cheesy but funny too. This was the first show Marsha and I ever binged watch, so it was cool for us to do this.

But now I have to go to confession…….
