We broke several of our 2-2-2 rules on this leg of our trip. It has been the longest drive so far – 8 hrs with our breaks. Still wasn’t too bad as we stayed on mostly 2 lane roads and the country side has been gorgeous. This stop for us was another “get-r-done ” stop. There wasn’t a green vegetable to be had in the glacier area, so it was time to replenish our supplies.

The campground was very nice – we have lucked out with the KOAs we have stayed in. It was at the edge of town and I found a long bike trail to ride on. Staying light until almost 10 PM allowed for a evening ride along the Yellowstone River. However the River was much nicer in Yellowstone Park. Billings is a spread out town with lots of refineries and industrial areas – right next to the river. But still no cars so I was good.

So the one full day we were here was a Costco run, Best Buy, grocery store, Walmart, car wash, banking – you know all the fun things to do. We are still living life and these needs still have to get done.
Now I told myself I wasn’t going to do a food blog – BUT…… As you might have guessed, we do love to eat and appreciate great food. As our friends say, “We are eating our way across America.” We found the Sassy Biscuit and ended up going there twice. The BEST Waffles ever! Not sure how they do it, but they were delicious.

We didn’t have to leave early for the next leg of our trip – only 2 hrs to Buffalo. So we went to breakfast again at the Sassy Biscuit and we still able to check out before 11 AM.
