Our next stop was at the Page Lake Powell RV park. As usual for now, everything was closed in the park – no pool or bath houses, but the laundry was open for one family at a time.
One of our goals on this trip was going to be eating in more that previous trips. Well we got our wish so far on this trip. Here we did find a few restaurants open for take out, but that was it. Lake Powell actually closed down while we were there – no one allowed on the lake at all. Few people we met were upset as they came with their own boats, and now were not allowed. Not sure why as being on the lake like that is pretty isolating.
It’s weird – we stay isolated and don’t seem to do all that much, but we are having fun and enjoying ourselves. Our big excitement is exploring new roads just to see where they go. Isolated in our car but getting to see new stuff all the time. Not a bad way to handle this virus.
Again, even with not doing much, the time flew by and it’s time to head out again.
